The Community of St. Paul’s is a community of welcome.

New to the area and looking for a worship community?
Looking for a progressive community that embraces diversity?
Has the church hurt you in the past?
You are welcome here.

St. Paul’s is rooted in the transformative love of Jesus, and we are inspired by His hope. We extend an explicit welcome to those whom the Church has historically excluded: Whether you are LGBTQIA+, an immigrant of any status, a person of color, a person who is struggling financially, whose mind or body works differently, or who is unsure what you believe - you have a place here.

Our Beliefs

As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the New Jersey Synod, our beliefs are grounded in the grace-inspired reformation thinking of Martin Luther. We are called to serve our neighbors, spread love and joy, and extend God’s welcome to all people.

St. Paul’s also advocates for the acceptance, safety, and full participation of all people within the Lutheran Church as a ReconcilingWorks congregation. Regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, we celebrate human diversity and believe that it is one of the best ways to understand the image of God. You are welcome here.
